He worked for the Osaka Prefectural Police from April 1974 to March 2006. He was mainly a member of the Criminal Affairs Division, including the First Investigative Division and the Special Criminal Investigation Unit of the Prefectural Police Headquarters.
The main cases he has been involved in include the National Police Agency's Case No. 113 (serial murderer Katsuta Kiyotaka), the Itoman case, and the Snow Brand Milk Products food poisoning case, and he has also been in charge of violent crimes such as sexual assaults.
Currently, in addition to being a certified administrative scrivener, he has been working as a detective for 32 years at the Osaka Prefectural Police, and based on his extensive experience honed in the field, he gives lectures that only a former police officer can give, such as police stories that can only be heard here, behind-the-scenes stories from his time as a detective that will make you say "Wow!", crime prevention diagnosis using case studies, corporate crisis management, and complaint handling.
In 2020, he became the Secretary General of the Asahi Crime Prevention Association in Asahi Ward, Osaka City.
