
Katsushige Muraoka

Fashion Designer/Fashion Advisor
Born in Tokyo in 1951. After training at the atelier "Baby Doll" located on the floor above the restaurant "Canti" in Iikura, he learned the basics of tailoring at the Japan Clothing College and studied under Takeo Kikuchi at "MEN'S BIGI". After leaving the company, he went independent and founded the brand "Yin & Yang". He specializes in suits for adults that pursue easy-to-make designs with an elegant, modern feel, and combine classic tailoring with just the right amount of trendiness.
Currently, he is developing a brand in collaboration with Toyobo-affiliated fabric manufacturer Miyuki Keori and major bridal company Claudia, and in 2018 he launched two new brands, "7 Dimension" and "KATSUSHIGE MURAOKA."
He is also known as a designer who has continued to provide costumes to Kenichi Hagiwara (Shoken) through Men's Bigi BERGMAN Yin & Yang.
