Many TSGs (Traditional Sports and Games) from countries and regions around the world belong to the world's cultural heritage, and TSGs can be an effective tool for promoting peace, as they contribute to the important elements of communication such as mutual understanding and respect.
UNESCO's activities focus on advocacy to protect, promote and develop the TSG, thereby contributing to international cultural development.
ICTSG is working to list TSGs in countries and regions around the world, centralize data such as knowledge and information that will lead to their development and promotion, and share it worldwide.The goal is to advocate the importance of respecting cultural diversity and identity in today's globalized society, and to find solutions by raising awareness.

ワリード・カッサス博士
11歳で武道を始め,長年にわたって多くの格闘技を習得。キックボクシングで名誉ある10段黒帯を得たほか、空手極真会、シラット・セニ・ガヨン、護身術など様々な武道でも黒帯を取得しています。その情熱と武道への献身は、彼のビジョンと専門知識の証であるアラビック格闘技流の創設に結実しました。
また、英国NAPCでスポーツ医学の博士号、武道科学の博士号、そして英国のFIMA大学で武道哲学の博士号を取得するなど、複数の高度な学位を取得。チェコ共和国プラハのNAPCで身体文化の修士号を取得し、イタリアとギリシャで授与されたISDO-WOSDの護身術9段黒帯も保持。
キックボクシングと護身術に関する包括的な書籍や、スポーツ医学に関する500ページ以上の著作など、この分野で重要な著作を執筆しています。トレーニング、審判に関する多数のセミナーを主導し、ナショナルチームや世界チャンピオンのヘッドコーチとなる選手たちを育成してきました。
